Jay Sanders Student Film Festival Identity
We wanted a visual mark that not only was quickly recognizable and suggests film, but a mark that represented a festival for student work. Our solution to this problem was to use a highly identifiable mark, the directors chair, as the main visual draw as well as suggesting the empty chair could be for the next up and coming film maker.
The Jay Sanders Film Festival is a yearly event in which the finalists in the Movie Gallery Student Film Competition are publicly presented and judged. The festival will be held during the spring semester in the theatre auditorium of the Auburn University Hotel & Dixon Conference Center, 241 S. College St., Auburn, AL 36830-5400.
