Design is a form of communication
and communication is the basis of our relationships and our understanding of the world. It affects and is used by the world of politics; it contributes to environmental issues, but also promises to educate people on them as well; it forms part of the social glue that keeps us together or drives us apart; and as well as being greatly affected by technology it also helps people access it (or prevents them when it is done badly). – Jonathan Baldwin
